First Time Questions
- Are masks required?
Plain and simply: yes. As it is state mandated that masks are to be worn in public spaces it is required to be worn in the gym. - How long does it take to get climbing?
If you fill out your waiver ahead of time: 15-20 minutes.
If you fill out your waiver at the gym: 20-30 minutes.
Included in these times are our first time gym orientation. In this orientation you will be taught how to belay (manage our rope systems), use auto-belays, and proper bouldering technique. - What do I need to bring?
You don't need to bring anything, as long as you wear comfortable clothes and shoes, all you need is a can-do attitude! We offer shoes for rent, but as long as your shoes are closed-toed you're welcome to wear them. Barefoot climbing is not allowed under any circumstance. - Do I need to bring my own gear?
No! For $6.00 you can rent our gear package which includes shoes and a harness. For $3.00 you can get just shoes or just a harness. Everyone who is participating in our rope climbing areas must use a harness. - What does a day pass get me?
A day pass gets you unlimited access to the gym while we're open. You're welcome to leave the gym to visit the surrounding downtown Frisco areas and come back. (Note: the day pass only gives you come and go access for the day it is purchased on.) - Who can boulder?
Anyone over the age of 16 may boulder, or if you are part of one of our team programs. Bouldering is a privilege and we can rescind the right to it. - Who can belay?
We offer belay lessons to anyone over the age of 13, but it is at our instructor's discretion to decide if they are allowed to or not. If we feel that an individual doesn't understand proper belay technique they will not be allowed to belay. - Is there an age limit for who can climb?
No, we've had kids as young as 2 and people as old as 80 come and climb. Everyone is welcome! - Do I need to make reservations?
We only require reservations for birthday parties or any group over 10 people; Otherwise come in any time we're open!
